The Crime Within The Crime of Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo

Looking for Lilly won't be easy, chances are she is not alive. But her two -year child and other friends and family are and they would like to find her.

As the one year anniversary of her vanishing approaches, the case has pretty much gone cold. I am hoping the Internet will revive this story and give it the attention it never received since her untimely disappearance.

According to her boyfriend, Lilly was in her pajama's and it was approximately two in the morning when she was last seen alive.

Police did a less than professional job investigating this case. They took a statement from the boyfriend And in my opinion, he should have been considered a suspect or a person or interest. Flyers and information did not hit the police beat until two months after she was reported missing.

No one at that time interviewed the father of the child. And a Web site blog written by someone who did not like (more along the lines of hate) the victim was never brought in for questioning, either.

In addition, police were called to the house numerous times because she vanished for domestic violence incidents. But, because the alleged offender knew someone on the police force a report was never filed.
Two Crimes have been committed. The first is to solve the murder of "Lilly" Aramburo. The second crime occured when police failed to investigate this case at the begining.

She could not have gone far. Lilly did not have much on in the way of clothes or shoes. And she would never just leave her then one year old son.

The family of missing 24 year old, Lucely Aramburo is asking for help.

Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo was reported missing June 2, 2007. She was last seen at her boyfriend's apartment 7680 SW 82 Street Miami, Florida. Her boyfriend, Christen Pacheco, reported that she left his apartment in pajamas at 2am to pick flowers. She left without her purse and without her cell phone. She has not been seen since. Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo is a Hispanic female, with olive complexion, 24 years old. She has long straight dark hair. She is 4'11, hazel eyes, 100 pounds. She has a scar on her left hand. She has a large tattoo of musical notes on her lower back. Anyone with information regarding this case should call Detective Aaron Mancha at (305)418-7200 or amancha@mdpd.com

Miami Media Stepping Up For Missing Mother

Posted by Holliston at 5/11/2008 11:27 AM and is filed under Lilly Aramburo

In the underbelly of ZeroGossip.com is the forum where many people go to discuss various topics.  It's there I learned this.  It was posted by "January" and it looks like the Miami Herald is taking an interest in Lilly Aramburo.  Friends and family will gather June 1, the day before the year anniversary of Lilly's strange disappearance.  More info comes in daily on the forum under the Lilly Aramburo section.

Just got a reply from the Miami Herald regarding writing a story on Lilly!!! Wants me to call them on Monday, says they want to help!

Here's a copy of the letter I had sent out yesterday which was replied to...

Subject: Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo, Missing and Forgotten in Miami

Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo is only one of the many missing and forgotten persons in Miami. However, from being from a journalism background myself, I'd like to fill you in a bit on what makes Lilly's case in particular one so very worth covering.

* Lilly was a former child star from the popular program Sabado Gigante. * Lilly's case was not submitted until 2 weeks after it was reported, seemingly due to a dectective's vacation and low priority/care factor level.

* Lilly has a beautiful little boy, Palden, now living with Lilly's Mother, who cries each and every day for his Mommy.

* Lilly had recently become a new Christian, dedicated her life to Jesus, entered herself into rehab and was full of joy and hope for a healthy future.

* Lilly's fiance, Christen Pacheco, says that Lilly walked out of his apartment at 2:00am with nothing more than 2 bungee cords to go pick flowers.

* Lilly's "friend" Kelly Starling has a MySpace page that includes a blog entry entitled "Lillie is a Monster" in which she lashes out thoughts of violent rage towards Lilly.

* Lilly's fiance, Christen and "friend" Kelly were the last ones to see her and whom reported her, 24 plus hours later missing, setting up a seemingly suicide scenario.

* Christen was not even questioned by the LE until 6 months after Lilly went missing, despite urgent pleas from Lilly's family who believe he should be a main suspect.

* Lilly's 1 year Vigil is being held on June 1st, 2008, a new missing persons local Miami organization has been started on her behalf in order to help other missing persons in Miami as well.

* The internet is steadily becoming on fire to spread the news about this missing young Mother, yet no other form of local media has yet to cover her story.

* With media coverage the possibilities to help so many more individuals in the Miami area are endless, but we need a compassionate journalist to share Lilly's story in order to really get the ball rolling, I think that compassionate individual is you.

A bit on this sweet girl named Lilly...

(snipped from a close friend of Lilly)

Lilly was a girl of peace, who loved her baby boy very much. She had a rough childhood, but her mom tried her best.
She touched everyone she met with her beautiful smile. She had the energy of a small child, and it is a damn shame that this has happen. And that this has remained unnoticed, while the media arbitrarily picks and choses who they find important.

She loved music, and although she loved rock, oldies were secretly her favorite songs. She loved to read and refused to learn computers. She was a very simple girl, who shopped at vintage stores, and hardly ever wore much make up. The term earth girl, comes to mind when I think of her. Also pixie, she was always confused with being a teenager because she looked so damn young. Lily was tough as steel, both emotionally and physically. Once she fell off a 2nd story building , went to the hospital , and walked out took the brace off and kept going, because she had to be at work the next day.

When she was pregnant, she glowed. It was the most beautiful time in her life. The beautifulest I have ever seen her. Her skin looked a golden olive, and her almond shaped eyes, glistened. I could see life in her. And she was happy.
I thought she would make it out. She began taking prenatal yoga, went back to being a vegatarian, and was dedicated to meditating and praying a lot.

we are having a vigil here , and as of right now, we have limited resources. We need help in getting TV, Radio, Print and Web to cover the event. It is our one shot to get this out there. And put the focus on missing persons for once here in Miami.

Note from Project Jason Staff: We welcome our new members, especially family members and their supporters. Please read the Posting Guidelines, which are located at the top of each forum area before posting. Remember that this forum is for news and information only. It is not a discussion forum. Personal commentaries about family members, persons of interest, and other persons related to the case are not allowed. Posts falling outside of these guidelines are edited without notice to the member. This is not just a forum, but is a website operated and staffed by a nonprofit organization. In that, responsibility is needed to care for the organization and protect it from liability issues so that we may continue to serve the families of the missing for many years to come. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

From the Family:

On June 1, 2007, almost one year ago, Lucely "Lilly" Aramburo allegedly walked out of her fiance's home with nothing on her feet, in her pajamas, with 2 bungee cords. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Lilly's story is one that is not unique. There are families all over the Miami area who are searching for their loved ones and are seeking answers. We hope that all families of missing persons will join us in an effort to bring resolution to finding our loved family members and friends.

In honor of missing Miami mother, Lilly Aramburo, Justice in Miami will be hosting a free Safety Awareness Community gathering & Candlelight Vigil to increase public awareness of missing person cases.

Bring the whole family for a worthy cause, candlelight vigil, butterfly release, free safety I.D. kits and balloons for the little ones plus much more.

The Power 96 Street Team will be there, spinning live music & giving away prizes.

Sunday, June 1st at 6PM, Peacock Park, 2820 McFarlane Rd- Coconut Grove in Miami

VIDEO OF THE 1ST ANNUAL SAFETY AWARENESS EVENT & CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN HONOR OF LILLY ARAMBURO

On Sunday, June 1st, 2008, Justice in Miami, Subliminal Pixels Lab, Maggie's Rose, and PK Graphics, sponsored a community safety event on the 1 year anniversary of Lilly Aramburo's disappearance. The event was a success.

We listened to live music courtesy of Power 96. Safety information and ID kits were handed out to parents and children. Guests signed in to receive their ribbon and candle. We had the beautiful "Lilly" line of hats and headbands, for sale. They were designed and donated courtesy of Maggie's Rose. You can see my girls and Havanna in the video wearing their hats. Everyone had something nice to say about them! Thank you, Sara! If you'd like more information on the "Lilly" line, please feel free to go to the Maggie's Rose website or contact us.

The butterfly ceremony/meditation was amazing. You could see the butterflies landing on our fingers and hands and the prayer flags in the background, blowing in the wind, releasing prayers for Lilly and all beings. A poem was read by Renea, Maya Angelou's "Touched by an Angel". And I read an excerpt from The Way of the Boddhisattva by Shantideva. We have a video clip of that below.

As a sign of solidarity with families of missing loved ones everywhere, Pastor Tony Isaacs led a special prayer. Our intention was that as each individual candle was added to the whole, it showed victims and their loved ones that there is a ray of hope.

All of the efforts were dedicated in honor of missing persons and victims everywhere, specifically, Lilly Aramburo, Heather "Kitty" Riggio, and Jennifer Kesse. Our aspiration is that they receive justice and the attention they deserve.

We'd like to extend a special thank you to our volunteers, (in no special order) Vivian, Renea, Sara, Delilah, Jamie, Hope Movement, the volunteers from Christ Fellowship, Pastor Tony Isaacs and all those who desire not to be mentioned (you know who you are!!)Thank you to our internet activists, our bloggers and friends in demanding justice...
And last but not least, a big hug and my sincere thanks to Bagua

THANK YOU! Your love and support helps us get through these difficult times. We stand with you in pride and gratitude. May you always live in truth and peace.

Although we had media present, only one channel and it's affiliate played it on the news.

Here is that clip from the vigil http://cbs4.com/video/?id=55873@wfor.dayport.com

Lucely Aramburo and Adrianna Wix are Project Jason's featured missing persons for September 2008. The image you see below, with links to their news and information threads, is on the main page of the Project Jason website. This is one means of awareness for their cases, and with an average of 700 hits to the site daily, we'll reach many with their stories.

Please note that Adrianna's mother, Jennifer is also missing, but we wanted to be able to highlight two separate cases as there are so many.

If your missing loved one is not registered with us for services, please click here: http://www.projectjason.org/report.html
