Rita,

Thank you for posting this information. We care about Sabrina and hope she is found.

You may want to know that the sighting information is from 2003. There have not been any recent sightings. Had there been, Greg (Sabrina's dad) would have posted it on Sabrina's site. It would appear Mr. Klein is just using this to try to reinvigorate the case.

We merged your post into Sabrina's original thread. Each missing person has one thread only. Updates are posted on that thread, rather than create new threads.

We welcome you to the forum. You may want to read the Posting Guidelines, located at the top of each subforum.

Thank you.

Sabrina is on Project Jason's current 18 Wheel Angel campaign. A special poster has been made for her and can be downloaded and printed for placement. More information about the program, and the link for the poster can be found here:

Project Jason - Assistance for families of the missing

In addition to the campaign, Sabrina is also featured in a trucking publication called Through the Gears. This free magazine is distributed in truck stops nationwide.

Through the Gears is one of JB Scott's many publications. In partnership with Project Jason, they feature two missing persons per month. You can pick up your free copies at a local truck stop, but if it's far from you, you may want to call and ask if they carry that magazine. These are NOT with the regular for purchase magazines.

Through the Gears has a circulation of about 150,000.

You can also see the current campaign information on this JB Scott webpage: 18 Wheel Angels

We hope this helps in the search for Sabrina.

Business leaders race to find America's missing children

Posted: Sep 28, 2008 06:54 PM EDT
Updated: Sep 28, 2008 09:19 PM EDT
By Julie Straw
Julie@wlbt.net

You may have noticed dozens of flashy cars driving around the capitol city.  They are here for the Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally.  The drivers cruise all over the country on a scavenger hunt of sorts, but the purpose behind the race has already changed a number of lives.

One by one, sticker clad cars roll up to Jackson's City Hall.  Each team is on a cross country game.  They left Baton Rogue, cruised through Vicksburg then into the capitol city stopping along the way to collect clues.

"It's kind of like scavenger hunt.  They are going to be visiting, they are going to get a little history lesson on Medgar Evers, then they are going to be going to the Malaco Records to learn a bit about that," said J. Sanchez, the President of Fireball Entertainment.

The 105 drivers come from all around the country.  Kevin and Michelle Boulton drive a bright yellow '09 Corvette.  This is the Georgia couple's second year participating.

"You have to use your brain.  You have to be able to drive, you have to be able to drive on a race track and on top of it, we get to look for all these missing children," said Kevin Boulton.

Fireball Entertainment has partnered with the Child Rescue Network.  Each team looks for a child and carries a sticker of him or her on their vehicle.  The Boultons are searching for Sabrina Allen, a Texas girl missing since 2002.

"Anywhere they encounter a person that doesn't know about the event they are to physically ask, "have you seen the child?" and present them with a missing child poster.  So it is an active recovery effort not a passive effort," said Sanchez.

The fireball run rally is only in its second year, but has already reunited 23 missing children with their families.

"Last year, the first one was in Tallahassee and a lady said I saw that child in Arizona.  So the Child Rescue Network contacts the state police and they go find that child," said the Senator for the race Mike Wells.  "It makes it all worth while."

The drivers will travel 3,500 miles in nine days and conclude their race in Michigan.  If you want to learn more about the race or America's missing children go to www.fireballrun.com.

Father: Missing children center long overdue

05:33 PM CDT on Monday, September 29, 2008

By OLGA CAMPOS
KVUE News

Capturing criminals is why he's a household name. Monday, John Walsh, the host of "America's Most Wanted," was in Austin to protect young victims. He's here to open the Regional Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

It's been six years since Greg Allen last saw his daughter, Sabrina.

"'I spent hours staring at this picture," he said. He's referring to an age progression photograph which reveals what Sabrina might look like today at age 11. Authorities believe she was taken by her mother, Dara Llorens, to Mexico. Allen says he won't rest until Sabrina is returned home.

"I feel like she's in danger and it's up to me, as her caretaker to find her and bring her home," he said.

Help is on the way for Texas parents like Greg Allen whose children may have been whisked away to Mexico either by a non-custodial parent or by a child predator. Private funds are making it possible for the National Center for Missing and Exploited children to open a regional center in Austin.

"The center here I think is going to have a big impact particularly on non-custodial abductions of people who run south with their children and think they can avoid ever giving their child back to their rightful parent," Walsh said.

More than 100 law officers are being trained to respond specifically to crimes committed against children. Yet it's the public's help that Walsh says will protect youngsters including those who are victims of sexual exploitation.

"Yes, I'm the father of a murdered child and I have a different drive, but I really believe that people should be looking out for theses vulnerable little people and its adults that are responsible", said Walsh.

Allen says the crime-fighting focus on Texas is overdue. "We need to dedicate resources for two reasons. Texas is close to the border and high population here and a lot of abductions go south from here".

A Pawn In A Bad Marriage

Greg Allen's whirlwind marriage to Dara Llorens ended when he uncovered her plan to flee with their daughter, Sabrina, to start a new life in Mexico.

During divorce proceedings, a court psychologist determined Dara suffered from personality disorders. To Greg, it explained some of Dara's bizarre behavior.

But to the courts, it meant that Dara was too unstable to be a full time mother, and Greg Allen was awarded full custody of Sabrina.

Shortly after the ruling, Dara reported her husband to the Child Protective Services claiming Greg was sexually and physically abusing Sabrina.

After a lengthy investigation, the CPS determined there had been no abuse. They believed Dara had been fabricating the stories and as a result Dara was ordered by the court into therapy.

Unhappy with this outcome, the FBI says Dara Llorens took her daughter Sabrina and disappeared.

Slipped Through The Cracks

Dara Llorens shortly before the divorce Dara and Sabrina were living on the run, but in this post 9-11 era, little was being done by law enforcement to find them.

Greg Allen turned to AMW for help.  His fear for Sabrina's safety outweighed his anger towards Dara.  With Dara's inability to hold down a job or find a place to live, Greg was concerned Sabrina was not eating and did not have a place to sleep.

AMW assembled a team of retired NYPD detectives, Ron Antoci and Jim Rodriguez, to search for Sabrina.

They quickly picked up Dara's trail that led from Austin to San Antonio to a busy bus depot in Nueva Laredo, Mexico.  Antoci and Rodriguez found two attorneys in Mexico City who each had given Dara $1,000, but neither knew where she and Sabrina were hiding.

It was as though Dara and Sabrina had literally slipped through the cracks.

Found, Then Lost Again

Greg Allen wasn't giving up hope, but it was now over a year, and still no word on his young daughter, Sabrina.

Then on June 10, 2003, Greg got the news he'd been waiting for.  It came in the form of an e-mail and it was written in Spanish.

A teacher at a Mexico City pre-school was convinced one of her students was Sabrina,  only this malnourished 6-year-old had dyed black hair and was called "Blanca".

The FBI quickly determined Blanca was indeed Sabrina and located where she and her mother Dara were living in Mexico City.

However, when Mexican Authorities went to detain the pair, Dara barricaded herself in her house and refused to cooperate.  She agreed to voluntarily turn herself in two days.

When Dara was a no show, authorities returned to her home, only to find that Dara had taken Sabrina and vanished once again.
