National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
NCMEC was established in 1984 as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to provide services nationwide for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered, and sexually exploited children.

The National Center for Missing Adults
(NMCO) & Center for Missing Adults (CMA) provides assistance to families of missing persons and law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Nebraska State Missing Persons Clearinghouse
On May 25, 2005, National Missing Children's Day, the Nebraska Unicameral passed LB111, Jason's Law, establishing the Missing Person's Clearinghouse.

Jason's Law was created by the family of Jason Jolkowski, of Omaha. Jason was 19 years old when he disappeared from in front of his Omaha home on June 13, 2001. Jason remains one of the missing. His picture and information appear on the Missing Person's Clearinghouse. The clearinghouse will serve as a central repository for information on missing persons to include missing children. The information is collected and disseminated to assist law enforcement agencies, public and private organizations and the citizens of Nebraska in locating missing persons.

Beyond Missing
BeyondMissing provides law enforcement agencies and parents with a secure, Internet based system to create and distribute missing child flyers to law enforcement, the media, and public and private recipients.

Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation
The Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Fund has been established to provide resources to families without economic means to offer rewards for information to help law enforcement officials locate missing loved ones and to bring violent criminals to justice.

The Center for Hope
The Center for Hope, Inc. is a not for profit organization with the mission of providing resources to educate, assist and support families and friends to cope with the ambiguous disappearance of a loved one. The primary goals of HOPE are to design and construct the "National Remorial for Missing Persons", and to promote and provide support, education and healing for survivors by sponsoring professionally run seminars. The website does not actively investigate cases; it is merely a publicity vehicle for cases which are often neglected by the press and forgotten all too soon.

CUE Center for Missing Persons
Community United Effort (CUE) is a non-profit organization that provides service to families who suffer a missing loved one, law enforcement agencies and Search & Rescue of the lost, young and old.

The DOE Network
The Doe Network is a volunteer organization devoted to assisting Law Enforcement in solving cold cases 9 years and older concerning Unexplained Disappearances and Unidentified Victims from North America, Australia and Europe. It is our mission to give the nameless back their names and return the missing to their families.

411Gina.org    
In 2001, Gina’s sister, singer-songwriter Jannel Rap organized GINA, bringing together recording artists from all over the country in an effort to raise awareness of all the people who go missing every year. GINA's goal is to uncover "missing pieces to find the missing."  By opening their hearts and doors, major recording artists and sponsors are promoting an ongoing effort of raising awareness of the missing while being a bridge to all forms of media.

Find-the-Missing.org 
Find-the-Missing.org is being designed to improve the quality and quantity of missing persons data and to simplify the reporting and management of missing persons cases for the justice community and the general public. Law enforcement, medical examiners, coroners, and other members of the justice community as well as family members are able to log on to the database to enter data regarding missing persons.  The system also provides access to a clearinghouse capability for missing persons that is available not only to law enforcement, but also to the general public.

The Family Watchdog
Family Watchdog is a free service that allows you to locate the sex offenders in your area. A map will be shown with additional information available about the offender.

Florida UnIdentified Decedents Database
As Medical Examiners, we all have cases in our offices in which the decedent remains unidentified. Our belief is that even though a cause and manner of death have been established, these cases are "perpetually pending." This website was created to provide a central clearinghouse to family, friends or police searching for a missing person.

Klaas Kids Foundation
The KlaasKids Foundation was established in 1994 to give meaning to the death of twelve-year-old kidnap and murder victim Polly Hannah Klaas and to create a legacy in her name that would be protective of children for generations to come.

Morgan Nick Foundation
The Morgan Nick Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that was formed in the tragic aftermath of the abduction of 6-year-old Morgan Nick. Morgan's mother, Colleen Nick, formed the Morgan Nick Foundation in an effort to recover missing children across the country. MNF also serves as a support team to the many families of missing children.

The National Runaway Switchboard
The National Runaway Switchboard gives help and hope to youth and their families by providing non-judgmental, confidential crisis intervention and local and national referrals through a 24-hour hotline.

Nebraska Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification
Access to sex offender information in Nebraska is provided to the public as the result of the Jacob Wetterling Registration Act, which passed by the United States Congress and Megan's Law, which requires states to release relevant information about registered offenders to protect the public. Outpost For Hope
Outpost for Hope is the "missing link" between under-represented missing persons and those who seek to find them. This often over-looked missing persons population can include but is not limited to: endangered runaways, homeless persons, lost mentally ill persons, substance addicted and other high-risk missing persons.

Parents For Megan's Law
Megan's Law has specific mandates for active community notification, which ensures that the community will be made aware of the presence of convicted sex offenders posing a risk to public safety. Read the tips used by sexual predators here.

Rachel Alert Network
The Rachel Alert Network, or RAN, is a charitable organization which helps prevent abductions through awareness education and provides information to friends and families of abducted persons. The Rachel Alert Network sponsors M.U.S.T. women's self-defense and awareness seminars.

Team H.O.P.E.
The mission of Team H.O.P.E. is to assist families with missing children by offering counsel, resources, empowerment and emotional support from a trained volunteer, who has had or still has a missing child. We enhance the already-proven skills of our volunteers and provide them with the tools they need to assist families with missing children.

Texas Equusearch
The Texas Equusearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team was started in August 2000, with the purpose to provide volunteer horse mounted search and recovery for Lost and Missing persons. Our resources range from horse and rider teams to foot searchers, water (divers, boats) air (planes, helicopters), dog teams (air scent, cadaver and tracking) and 4x4 vehicles. We have also utilized infrared cameras in some of our searches.

The Tommy Foundation
We at the Tommy Foundation feel that one child missing is one child too many. Through donations, we are helping to bring public missing, and dispensing child safety information. Our mission is to save or protect child victims. We also give victim impact presentations to Law Enforcement trainings.

Unidentified Decedent Reporting System

This website was developed and is maintained as a public service project of the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) and The International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners (IACME). It is designed to assist in the identification of deceased persons whose names and identities have not yet been established. It includes cases from throughout the United States.
